Blobosphere
Blobosphere was created for my print publication class, where we were given a list of obscure words to inspire a newsprint. I chose the word “blob” because I thought it would be a good opportunity to play with fun shapes and imagery that would create a unique and distinctive visual experience. The edition I designed focuses on blobs related to the realm of science, showcasing news articles that feature recent blobby discoveries spanning from beneath the earth’s surface to outer space. I wanted the newsprint to feel unconventional, embracing the inherent silliness of the topic while maintaining a sense of intrigue that is both entertaining and informative.
